Hi, my name is Nathalie. Entering psychotherapy is an important and courageous decision which is why I offer a safe and accepting environment where you can feel comfortable sharing your experience and have an opportunity to grow, heal and develop healthier and more adaptive ways to deal with challenges.
My treatment style is primarily a person-centered approach that focuses on building trust, identifying strengths, practicing mindfulness, challenging unhelpful thoughts and improving behavior patterns. I recognize that you are the expert on you so I value collaborative work between client and therapist. My job as a therapist is to assist you in being more present in your daily life, in developing coping strategies to adequately manage current or longstanding challenges and in reaching your identified goals.
Some of my treatment methods include Trauma Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness Practice. I offer psychotherapy for adults and teens struggling with problems such as depression, anxiety, trauma, life adjustments (such as immigration, expatriation, etc.), relationship issues and more!
Since obtaining my master’s degree in Psychology, I have gained experience and confidence in helping people from diverse backgrounds achieve their therapy needs. I would welcome the opportunity to meet you and take this journey with you.
