In the fast-paced world that we live in, counseling can be a dedicated environment to focus on personal growth and improvement. When positive goals are identified, it is then that your therapist can partner with you to facilitate the alignment of your intentions and goals so that you can the opportunity to reach your full potential.
Having spent the past few years helping people of all ages to overcome concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and life-limiting illness among other concerns, I have a special interest with assisting you in finding tools that will empower you for years to come so that lasting change can be instilled. Using an individualized approach to attain your goals, my methods are strength-based and solution-focused, integrating modalities such as mindfulness, motivational interviewing, positive psychology, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
After earning a bachelor of social work degree at Michigan State University, I went on to complete a master of social work at the University of Southern California. I strive to maintain current with my knowledge and education and am actively working on acquiring a certification to be a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP).
