We all experience challenges in life, but sometimes those challenges can leave us feeling hopeless, helpless, or stuck. Perhaps you have tried a number of things already, but nothing has seemed to lift the feeling of heaviness or escape the constant cycle of worry. Reaching out to a professional can feel overwhelming, and it may be difficult to know where to start. I want you to know that you are not alone, and I want to help.
I work with my clients to establish an atmosphere of warmth, safety, and trust where we can begin to unpack what has been contributing to the distress, and develop a plan toward healing. Together, we will work to increase coping and improve overall well being. My hope is that clients leave therapy feeling empowered with skills and strategies to go on and live a more fulfilling life.
As a Woodlands native, I went on to attend Baylor University where I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology and my master’s degree in social work. Since that time, I have gained extensive experience working with individuals struggling with a wide range of mental health concerns. I utilize evidence-based treatments and integrate different models and theories to meet the individual needs of each client. It is my joy to journey with clients toward healing, and I look forward to working with you!
