There are a lot of different reasons that may have led you to being here, searching for the right therapist to help you through a difficult time. You are probably feeling a flood of different emotions as you are trying to decide who you will share the most vulnerable parts of yourself and your life with. Most people want to know a little bit more about someone before doing so which is understandable. I would, too.
Life is not always easy and neither are relationships. As humans though, we can feel comfort in the fact that we have all experienced struggles. I strive to help my clients feel like they are not alone in what they are going through and that there is hope for a better future. If you are going through a difficult time, experiencing conflict in your relationship, or even just feel stuck and are unsure how to handle life, I am here to help you navigate that. The environment I seek to create for my clients is one that is non-judgmental and somewhere they feel accepted and heard. I understand how important it is to find a therapist you feel comfortable with. If you think I would be a good fit for you, please contact me and I would be happy to talk with you!
I earned my bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from Texas Tech University. I got my start on the research side of things by working in labs studying both couples and recovering addicts. After completing my bachelor’s, I continued on to get my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. When I’m not seeing clients, I love to spend time with friends and family, try new restaurants, and enjoy any kind of live music.
