Andrea Barger, LMFT-A, LPC-A

My clients describe me as caring, non-judgmental and insightful. My therapeutic style is to help guide you through the challenges faced with support and knowledge you can use outside the session as well. Together we can find out where things have gone off course and the best ways that fit in your life for beginning the process to fix them today along with the trajectory of your future. I became a therapist to be able to remain objective while assisting you in navigating current issues or concerns.

I have experience working with individuals, couples, groups and families. Some areas I have focused on in my work include infidelity/affairs, domestic violence, sexual assault for all ages/gender, trauma, spinal cord injuries, anxiety, depression, grief/loss and parenting. I am Gottman Couples Therapy Level 1 & Level 2 Certified.

I recognize and understand that the decision to seek therapy and receive help in a time of frustration and possible hopelessness is typically not one sought out overnight. I work to co-create meaning and goals with you to better fit your own personal strengths and life experiences. You are courageous in seeking out help, and we can build hope together!
